sparse_dss_spool()

Two months of a sparsely sampled DSS deployment.

One patch per day of hourly samples along 20 channels, for a temperature and a strain acquisition which start and end at different times and lose different days to outages. Sampled once an hour, so the whole thing is a few hundred kilobytes – small enough to build in memory, long enough to draw on a calendar.

A day short of its 24 samples leaves a hole after it, so the acquisitions cover their spans by different amounts.
