Return the metadata of each logical patch in a resource.

The coordinates declare the array’s dimensions and shape, and the metadata declares its dtype. Multi-patch readers put their logical key in ArraySource. The framework supplies the source path, format, and version. snap accepts True, False, a coordinate name, or a tuple of names. snap=False preserves stored coordinate values when available; neither setting includes unwritten samples.
