Apply a view’s exact residual selections to a loaded patch.

Shared by catalog row resolution and plan-member loading so the two-stage select contract has exactly one implementation.

A bound pushed into the reader leaves its select here nothing to do, and nothing to record: the reader already gave the loaded patch the id of the window it read.
