The member sources which are no longer what the index recorded.
What the index measured of each source came from the same join as the member rows and is held under their row numbers, so the two describe one revision of the index however long ago it was planned and nothing is asked of the index here. Each distinct source is measured once, by the same function the indexer records – a file by its own stat, a directory-format unit by its manifest.
A remote store is never touched. A path this process cannot stat, or one the index recorded nothing for, makes this None, or is left out with skip_unmeasured, which also follows a member loading another plan’s output to that plan’s members. A recorded file which no longer answers (deleted, unreadable) is listed as changed.
