The positional (start, stop) windows over which a coordinate is contiguous.

A window ends where a run changes step or starts further from its predecessor than the default tolerance allows, and at every hole missing reports; runs joined by sub-sample jitter are one window. Runs holding labels with no shared step (e.g. an exact array of jittered times) are irregular rather than gapped, so they are one window too.
