close_all
close_all(
self ,
abort: bool = False,
)
Close any open file handles.
With abort=True, handles that support it discard uncommitted work (e.g. remote writers skip uploading a partial file). One handle failing must not skip cleanup of the others (remote handles resume garbage collection in close), so the first error is re-raised only after every handle was attempted. BaseException is caught for that reason too: a Ctrl-C mid-close would otherwise strand the GC pause of every handle after it.
