validate_acquisition_key(

)-> ‘str’

Validate a composite acquisition key.

An acquisition key names an inventory acquisition as network.fiber_array.location.acquisition. An empty string means unset, which is how patches with no inventory identity are spelled.

Both the inventory model and PatchAttrs use this function so a code legal in one is legal in the other.
